TACOMA, WASH. – After defeating Whitecaps FC 2 1-0 last Friday, Tacoma Defiance (14-5-4, 49 points) returns home to host Timbers2 at Starfire Stadium on Sunday afternoon (4:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com).
The two sides have faced off two different times this year, with Defiance winning both matchups 3-0 and 6-1. With a win, Tacoma would claim the top spot in the Western Conference heading into the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs.
