Carolina League Championship Matchup Set; RiverDogs Will Meet Lynchburg

Charleston, SC – The Charleston RiverDogs will battle the Lynchburg Hillcats in the Carolina League Championship Series beginning Sunday at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in Charleston. The RiverDogs swept Myrtle Beach in the South Division finals and are aiming to repeat after also claiming the 2021 league title. Lynchburg knocked out Fredericksburg in the North Division finals on Friday afternoon. The RiverDogs run to the championship is presented by Nucor Steel and Budweiser.
The full schedule for the championship series is below:
Game 1: Lynchburg at Charleston – Sunday, September 18 – 5:05 p.m. (Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park)
Game 2: Charleston at Lynchburg – Tuesday, September 20 – 6:30 p.m. (Bank of the James Stadium)
Game 3 (if necessary): Charleston at Lynchburg – Wednesday, September 21 – 6:30 p.m. (Bank of the James Stadium)
All tickets are just $5 for Sunday’s game at The Joe. The first 500 fans into the gates will receive a RiverDogs playoff T-shirt courtesy of Nucor Steel and $1 beers will be available throughout the ballpark thanks to Budweiser.
