Regina Beat ICE 3-2 in Overtime

The Winnipeg ICE earned a single point in the WHL preseason standings Thursday night dropping a 3-2 decision in overtime to the Regina Pats.
Parker Berge scored the game winning goal at 1:47 of the extra frame. Borya Valis and Tye Spencer had the other Regina goals.
Zach Benson scored both goals for the ICE, who outshot the Pats 29-25.
Winnipeg went 0/3 on the power play, the Pats were 1/3.
Keegan Maddocks started the game in net for the ICE making 13 of 15 saves. Dawson Cowan stopped 9 of 10 over the final 33:09.
Matthew Kieper opened the game for the Pats in goal turning away 15 of 17 shots. Koen MacInnes made all 12 saves he faced over the remaining 32:01.
The ICE (1-1-1) conclude their four game WHL preseason schedule Saturday night at 7:00 against the Pats (3-1) at The RINK Training Centre.
