The Saskatchewan Roughriders will continue to wear commemorative JSCN decals on their helmets during Friday’s game and a moment of silence will be held before kickoff to remember the victims. The Club is receiving guidance from the communities on the best way for us to remember and honour the victims of this tragedy and aid in the healing process, both on game day and beyond.

Week 15
The Riders currently sit in fourth place in the highly competitive West Division and coming to town is the Edmonton Elks, sitting in fifth place in the west. With a win, the Roughriders can knock the Elks out of playoff contention while staying in the race for either a spot in the playoffs in the West Division or via the crossover.
Defensively, the Green and White have the linebacking duo of Darnell Sankey and Larry Dean leading the way. The two rank second and third in the league with 79 and 76 defensive tackles, respectively. Defensive lineman Pete Robertson is third in the league with nine sacks in nine games, tying the league lead in forced fumbles with four.
Kick and punt returner Mario Alford has certainly made his presence felt since joining the squad, returning a kick for a touchdown last week against the Blue Bombers to open the second half. With that spectacular play, Alford became the first player in Rider history to register two kickoff-return touchdowns in a single season.
Lastly, running back Frankie Hickson has been great in his three games since entering the starting lineup, recording games of 126, 85, and 71 rushing yards while adding 51 total receiving yards and 66 kick return yards.
