Season Low Hits Lead to Bees’ Loss

September 15, 2022 – Pacific Coast League (PCL)Salt Lake Bees News Release

The Salt Lake Bees had a season low two hits in a 6-1 loss to the Sugar Land Space Cowboys on Wednesday night. Monte Harrison put the Bees in front 1-0 with a leadoff home run in the second inning, his eighth of the season, while their only other hit was a two out single by Kean Wong in the eighth inning.


Sugar Land took the lead in the fifth inning on a three run homer by Alex De Goti off of Salt Lake starter Adam Seminaris (2-4), who worked four and one-third innings and allowed three runs on six hits with a Triple-A season high six strikeouts and one walk. Sugar Land would add one more run in the sixth inning and two more in the eighth against the Bees’ bullpen. Gerardo Reyes did pitch a three up, three down inning in the seventh with one strikeout.
