Brahmas NAHL Showcase Schedule Released

FRISCO, TX – The Lone Star Brahmas will open the 2022-23 North American Hockey League regular season with four games at the NAHL Showcase at the SuperRink in Blaine, MN from September 14-17.
Lone Star will face two opponents each from the Central Division and Midwest Division. The Brahmas open the showcase slate with the Bismarck Bobcats and the St. Cloud Norsemen, and close out the weekend with the Janesville Jets and Kenai River Brown Bears.

All 29 NAHL teams will play between three and four regular-season games at the Showcase, which is one of hockey’s most prominent and popular events of the entire season and has become the ‘Greatest Show on Ice.’ All NAHL Showcase games will be broadcast live and in HD through HockeyTV, the official broadcast provider of the NAHL, with Lone Star play-by-play broadcaster Ashley Chase.
The NAHL Showcase attracts over 9,000 people in overall attendance, including more than 300+ professional, college and junior scouts. For scouting purposes, the NAHL Showcase is the premier event of its kind and is a yearly gathering for every NCAA program and NHL team as they get their first look at some of the best and brightest hockey talent North America has to offer. To date, 336 players have already made NCAA commitments during the 2021-22 season, with 251 of those (75%) being NCAA Division I commitments.

The Lone Star Brahmas are the defending NAHL regular season champions and winners of the South Division regular season in 2021-22, on the hunt to bring more banners to the NYTEX Sports Centre in the 2022-23 campaign.
