LouCity’s Damm Returns to Northern Colorado on Loan

Louisville City FC defender Owen Damm has returned to USL League One side Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC for a third loan stint this season and will be available for the club’s match against South Georgia Tormenta FC on Saturday.
The 19-year-old Versailles, Ky., native provided some much-needed depth for the boys in purple during City’s run of five games in 15 days, including four road matches. Damm was recalled from his first loan spell with Northern Colorado in the spring after a spate of injuries along the back line. He made his senior team debut with a start on May 13 at LA Galaxy II.
Damm, who signed his first professional deal in December after coming through the LouCity Academy, has nine starts in 13 appearances for Northern Colorado. He also played in the Hailstorm’s U.S. Open Cup upset of Major League Soccer’s Real Salt Lake.
LouCity’s busy stretch of games will conclude on Saturday when the club plays at Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC at 7 p.m. City topped Pittsburgh, 2-0, in an April 30 meeting at Lynn Family Stadium.
