September 7, 2022 – North American Hockey League (NAHL)New Jersey Titans News Release

The New Jersey Titans, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Ryan Novo has committed to play NCAA Division I Ice Hockey for the United States Military Academy (Army West Point) Black Knights, who play in the Atlantic Hockey Conference (AHC).

Novo, 18, is entering his first season as a Titan. The Tonawanda, NY, native last season played youth hockey with the Buffalo Regals and Prep hockey with the Frederick Gunn School.

“It’s an honor to announce my commitment to such a prestigious college like Army West Point,” said Novo. “This couldn’t have been possible without the tremendous support from my family, friends and coaches, I can’t thank them enough. Looking forward to my first year as a Titan and improving my game before I make the step to college hockey” added Novo.

“We are extremely proud of Ryan and the Novo family on his commitment to Army” said Titans head coach and general manager Craig Doremus. “West Point is getting a very impressive young man on and off the ice. Ryan came to New Jersey to develop and grow as a player and ultimately get a Division 1 opportunity at West Point. The fact he was able to achieve so much in such a short period of time speaks volumes about his resume, upbringing, character and integrity. We are so pumped to have Ryan in New Jersey as a Titan and we look forward to him being a huge part of our organization for years to come” concluded Doremus.

Army West Point is in West Point, NY. The Black Knights are coached by Brian Riley.
