Smokies-Braves Postponed, DH Set for Sunday

PEARL, Miss. – The Tennessee Smokies’ (66-58, 29-26) game against the Mississippi Braves (57-66, 28-26) Saturday night at Trustmark Park has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The Smokies and the Braves will play a single-admission doubleheader on Sunday, September 4 at 5:05 p.m. ET to make up Saturday’s originally scheduled contest. Both games will be seven innings.
The Smokies are looking to clinch a series-win in game one when they send RHP Ben Brown (1-0, 5.29) to face Mississippi’s RHP Nolan Kingham (1-1, 4.09). Game two will feature Chris Clarke (6-4, 4.94) against Roddery Munoz (0-0, 9.82). The Smokies will host the Biloxi Shuckers in its next homestand July 12-17 at Smokies Stadium. Thursday, July 14 is Throwback and Dollar-Hot-Dog Night. Smokies Stadium will host Corona Hard Seltzer Night on July 15, and Saturday, July 16 will be Grateful Dead Night featuring a postgame concert by The Stolen Faces.
