Spirit Acquire Draft Pick from Barrie in Exchange for Justin O’Donnell

Saginaw, Mich. – Saginaw Spirit General Manager Dave Drinkill announced Saturday (Sept. 3) the team has executed a trade with the Barrie Colts acquiring a conditional 15th round pick in 2024 in exchange for right wing Justin O’Donnell.
The condition of the trade is the draft pick becomes a ninth round pick if Justin O’Donnell plays one game for the Colts during the 2022-23 season.
O’Donnell, 19, appeared in 39 games for the Spirit during the 2021-22 season after being acquired from the Sarnia Sting.
