Wolves Begin Seven-Game Homestand

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Wolves are back in town and are set to begin a 7-game homestand this week
kicking it off with a triple header. The Wolves will host the Sault-Ste. Marie Greyhounds Wednesday and
Niagara IceDogs on Friday before the Mississauga Steelheads come to town Sunday. Wednesday and
Friday’s game is set for a 7:05pm puck drop while Sunday’s game is set for 2:05pm.


The Pack returns to town following a weekend road trip down south. Kieron Walton and Djibril Toure
scored their 2nd goals of the season while David Goyette added 2 assists and Landon McCallum, Ethan
Larmand, Nick DeGrazia and Evan Konyen all collected 2 points.

David Goyette continues to lead the pack in points this season he has 6 goals and 9 assists which makes
up for 15 points on the season. Sudbury’s own Alex Pharand has been off to a great start, he has 6 goals
and 4 assists in 11 games this season. Alex has already tied his goals scored from last season and leads
the team for powerplay goals on the season. Evan Konyen is also off to a hot offensive start, as has
collected 3 goals and 7 assists on the season. Quentin Musty another Wolves member top of the pack
with 10 points to his name through 11 games with 4 goals and 6 assists.

The Wolves are ready to embark on their largest home-stand of the season and face their first opponent
on Wednesday, the Sault-Ste Marie Greyhounds who have a record of 3-5-3-1 so far this season. The
Greyhounds roster features two NHL prospects that includes Bryce McConnell-Barker (NYR) and Kirill
Kudryavtsev (VAN).

McConnell-Barker leads the Greyhounds in points this season, he has 12.

Wednesday’s theme is Community Give Back Night where the organization has donated tickets to a
large number of local not-for-profits as a way to thank their staff and volunteers who help make
Sudbury the best community it can be and to support the community that supports us. The game is
sponsored by URIDE and all fans in attendance will receive a special promo code courtesy of URide.
On Friday the Wolves will faceoff against the Niagara IceDogs who have a record of 3-6-3-0 so far this
season. The IceDogs roster features one NHL prospect; Pasquale Zito (DET). Forwards Aidan Castle and
Pano Fimis lead the team in points with 13 on the season.

Friday’s game is sponsored by Bianco’s. The Wolves will celebrate their 50th anniversary season and
honour a number of staff and long-time members of the organization who have left their impact on the
organization and the community. The Pack will be wearing special anniversary jerseys for the game,
which will be auctioned off during the game onsite and online in support of Ten Rainbows Children’s
Foundation. The Sudbury Wolves also welcome all Alumni to the game. Alumni are encouraged to

On Sunday, to cap off the triple header week, the Wolves welcome the Mississauga Steelheads to town.

The Wolves are one of two teams that have beat the Steelheads so far this season on October 2nd where
the Pack won 6-2 in Mississauga. The Steelheads roster features four NHL prospects; Kai Schwindt (FLA),
Luca DelBelBelluz (CBJ), Owen Beck (MTL) and Ethan Del Mastro (CHI). Forwards Owen Beck and Luca
DelBelBelluz share the team lead in points this season with 14.

Sunday’s game is sponsored by Eastlink. It is Minor Hockey Day, join us to celebrate teams from several
minor hockey league associations who will battle it out during the 1st intermission to win $1,000 for their
team in an afternoon shoot-out showdown. Sunday’s game also marks the third Junior Wolves Sunday
of the season! Fans can join select members of the team for a skate following the game. A friendly
reminder you must have skates to participate on the ice.

Box Office. The Sudbury Arena Box Office will be open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to
4pm. On Wednesday and Friday, the box office will be open from 9am until the end of the second
intermission while Sunday it will be open from 10 am until the end of the second intermission. Get your
