The Brahmas have not lost a game in their last ten contests. Their only loss of the season came at the NAHL Showcase against the Janesville Jets (2-0). The Brahmas have played nine games against South Division opponents. Eight of which have been played against Corpus Christi or El Paso. So far, Lone Star has two shutouts this season and has won six games by one goal. Their second-year goalie, Arthur Smith, is 5-0 and leads all NAHL goalies in goals-against-average (0.69) and save percentage (0.963%). He has not seen more than 23 shots in a game this season. Odessa went 1-3-0-4 versus Lone Star last season and has not won in Brahmaland since September 28, 2018. Marking a 21-game losing streak (0-19-0-2). Lone Star is undefeated this season when scoring the first goal of the game (6-0).

The Jacks have the worst powerplay in the league at 8.3%. They have scored four power-play goals this season on 48 opportunities. PLAYERS TO WATCH:
Jackalopes (F: #11 – Ryan Mansfield)
The Burlington, ON native is in his final year of junior eligibility. He started his NAHL career last season with Odessa and scored 32 points (12G, 20A) in 56 games. Putting him fourth on the team in scoring. The 19-year-old is tied with Emerson Goode for the team lead in points with 11. Mansfield’s seven goals are second on the team. The 5’11″/195lb. left-handed forward recorded five points (3G, 2A) last weekend which is the most he has ever had in a weekend series. Earning him second star of the week. He has racked up four goals and three assists during his current three-game point streak. Mansfield played in all eight games against Lone Star last season and registered one goal and two assists.
Brahmas (F: #11 – Matthew Macdonald)
The 20-year-old is in his fourth and final season of junior hockey. The Weymouth, MA native started his NAHL career in 2019-20 playing six games (2A) with the St. Cloud Blizzard. Macdonald also spent six games that season playing in the USHL for Fargo Force after being drafted #92 overall by them in 2019. In 2020-21, the 6’2″/205lb. right-handed forward played 50 games for the Brahmas and tallied 13 points (7G, 6A). Last season, Macdonald played 19 games for Lone Star and finished with four points (3G, 1A). The Merrimack College commit is currently tied for the team lead in points with 10. He leads the team in goals with seven. Macdonald only played against Odessa once last season and was unable to get on the scoresheet.
