Thomas Erlington Named a CFL Top Performers of the Week

The Canadian Football League announced Tuesday, that Hamilton Tiger-Cats running back SeanThomas Erlington has been named one of the league’s Top Performers for Week 20.
Thomas Erlington, 30, registered 13 carries for 104 yards in Hamilton’s 30-27 win over the Ottawa Redblacks Friday night at Tim Hortons Field. The 5’9, 217-pound native of Montreal, Quebec came off the bench following an injury to starter Don Jackson and led the way for a Tiger-Cats rushing attack that posted 177 yards on 25 carries (7.1 yards per carry). With his effort on Friday night, Thomas Erlington became the Tiger-Cats second 100-yard rusher of the season-Wes Hills posted 134 yards against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on October 7th.
BC’s James Butler, first in voting, and Calgary’s Dedrick Mills (3rd) round out this week’s Top Performers. The three players were chosen by a panel of judges made up of Matt Dunigan and Marshall Ferguson of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS, who independently send their selections to the CFL league office.
