Smith Returns to Barnstormers

October 21, 2022 – Indoor Football League (IFL)Iowa Barnstormers News Release

DES MOINES – The Iowa Barnstormers have re-signed veteran wide receiver Kezlow Smith to the 2023 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.

Smith (5-11, 190, Lakeland University) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his second season with the team. Prior to joining the Barnstormers in 2022, Smith spent three seasons with the Green Bay Blizzard. Smith appeared in 10 games wearing the goggles where he collected six receptions for 93 yards and one touchdown and was a huge asset on special teams.

“Kezlow provided some huge plays for us last season as a receiver and was a key cog of our special teams,” said Head Coach Mogensen. “He battled some injuries that hampered him a bit, we are excited to get him back at full strength in 2023. He should once again be a big play threat on offense and be among the best special teams players in the IFL.”

Smith will return to Des Moines and enter the 2023 Iowa Barnstormers Training Camp in the spring.
