Force Week 5 Preview

The Force play just one game in Week 5, matching up against the Tri-City Storm at home on Thursday, October 20 at 7:05PM.
The Storm travel up to Fargo from Kearny, Nebraska for their first game against the Force of the 2022-23 Season. They started the season hot rattling off three wins in a row, first downing Madison 4-1 then Muskegon 6-4 followed by a 4-3 shootout win over Omaha. Since then, the Storm have dropped all three of their games in regulation falling to Waterloo 4-1, and Lincoln 6-3 two nights in a row.
The Storm are led by returner Kieran Cebrian (4G-6A-10P) for a 1.63PPG average, Cebrian has tallied a point in every game so far this season. Tri-City netminder Karlis Mezsargs has played the majority of the minutes for the Storm this season and is currently 2-2 with a 3.81GAA and .885SV%.
The Force look to keep their momentum going after a 2-0 weekend downing the Musketeers 4-3 in an OT thriller on Friday and a dominant 5-1 win over the Stampede on Saturday. The Force are 4-1-0-1 on the season and currently rank 2nd in the Western Conference with 9 points, right behind the league leading Lincoln Stars (5-1-0-0) with 10.
Fargo is led in scoring by Alternate Captain, Cole Knuble who is currently averaging a point per game with four goals and two assists in six total games. Force forward Charlie Russell (2G-4A) is also averaging 1PPG, followed closely by Anthony Menghini, Harper Bentz, Kyle Smolen and Bret Link all with 5 points under their belts.
