HEADLINES

Tanner Brown was acquired from the Red Deer Rebels on Tuesday and made his debut on Wednesday, becoming the 1,413th player (1,247th skater) in franchise history to play in a regular season or playoff game for Regina.

In a corresponding move, the Pats placed 20-year-old goaltender Koen MacInnes on waivers on Tuesday, clearing on Wednesday as October 12 marked the 20-year-old deadline where teams had to cutdown from four to three overagers.

The Pats then dealt Adam McNutt to the Swift Current Broncos on Wednesday morning in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick. McNutt will make his Broncos debut tonight against his former team just days after being traded.

Drew Sim continues to stay perfect for the Pats, as he improved to 4-0-0-0 on the season after going 6-18-1-2 last year. His shutout on Wednesday against Prince Albert was his first since April 15, 2021 when he made 16 saves against the Victoria Royals while a member of the Vancouver Giants. He now holds a 2.22 goals against average and .920 save percentage.
