Portland, Ore. – The on-ice portion of the 2022 Neely Cup began Thursday, with all four teams taking the ice. After day one, Team Petan and Team Carruth sits atop the standings, each securing two wins.


The four teams, named after Winterhawks alumni Mac Carruth, Nic Petan, Derrick Pouliot, and Ty Rattie, filled with roster hopefuls are competing against one another at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Game format consists of a 22-minute running clock period, followed by a ten-minute three-on-three. The winner of each 22-minute game and each three-on-three game receives two points in the standings, allowing for a team to pick up a maximum of six points each day.
