LAST GAME: 5-2 Loss vs Winnipeg ICE: Despite opening the scoring just 15 seconds into the game by Oasiz Wiesblatt, the number one ranked team in the CHL found a way to pull away for good in the second period thanks to a Connor Geekie hat-trick to help Winnipeg take care of the Tigers at home, dropping their record to 1-2 heading into the 5 game US Division Road Trip starting tonight in Everett.
SILVERTIPS: This will be the only meeting of the 2022-23 WHL Season, the last time the Tigers and Silvertips played each other was December 7, 2019 in Medicine Hat where the Silvertips shutout the Tigers 5-0. Calgary Flames prospect Dustin Wolf got the shutout while now a Tiger Brenden Lee suited up for Everett in the win. The last Tigers win against Everett came at the Angel of the Winds Arena on February 9, 2019 where Mads Sogaard came away with the shutout while James Hamblin scored the game winning goal and is still at Edmonton Oilers camp looking to crack the opening night NHL roster in Edmonton.

Thru 3: The Medicine Hat Tigers are sporting a 1-2 record in the 2022-23 WHL Season so far after winning their season opener against Lethbridge, the Tigers have lost two straight to Lethbridge (5-4 Sept 30) & Winnipeg (5-2 Oct 1). This is the Tigers first US road trip since February 2019.
New Blood: The Tigers will have one of their newest prospects on the road trip for the next 10 days, Defenceman Matthew Paranych who was drafted in the 3rd Round of this year Prospects Draft has been playing with the SAHA Academy in Medicine Hat.
Calgary Cowboys: The line of Andrew Basha, Oasiz Wiesblatt & Owen MacNeil are off to a great start in the Tigers season. Responsible for 7 of the Tigers first 16 goals scored this year.
