Hounds Sign Moses to SPA and Education Package

Soo Greyhounds General Manager announced today the latest signing in advance of the commencement of the 2022-23 Ontario Hockey League season this weekend.

Today, free agent DAYLEN MOSES agreed to a Standard Player Agreement and Education Package with the Program.


“Throughout development camp, Daylen made a great impression on all of the staff. He arrived at our main camp with a chip on his shoulder, ready to earn a spot. He continued this progress in exhibition with a really strong performance” explained Raftis.

“He plays with tenacity and speed. We really believe that Daylen has the raw abilities that can turn him into a very impactful forward and we are excited to watch him develop when working with our staff” he concluded.

Moses, a native of Ottawa Ontario appeared in 26 games with the Ottawa Senators U18AAA club in 2021-22 where he recorded 11 goals and 8 assists in the regular season before adding 3 points (1G, 2A) in 4 post-season contests.

“I want to give a huge thank-you to my parents for always supporting and believing in me. I would also like to thank all my coaches – Jordan Johnson Brendon Doherty and especially coach Steve Mallet with OJS” said the 6.01, 169 lb centremena.

“I’m super excited to get to know the Sault Ste. Marie community and start the season with the Soo Greyhounds” he added.
